This long running functionality has gone from the Galaxy S8 as its screen is too big to fit the sensor and Samsung’s solution is ridiculous. It’s aluminium back is more durable than the Galaxy S8’s glass (though the latter is there to offer wireless charging) and you can easily unlock with your fingerprint face down on the table.
